Disaster Relief

To the displaced and rebuilding survivors of Hurricanes Ike & Gustav, their families, friends and the entire Gulf Coast Region, our thoughts, hopes and prayers go out to you.
(Ike made landfall at Galveston, Texas, on September 13, as a Category 2)
(Gustav made landfall near Cocodrie, Louisiana, on September 1, as a Category 2)
To the many displaced survivors of recent Midwest Weather Events, their families, friends and the entire Midwestern Region, our thoughts, hopes and prayers go out to you.
(May & June of 2008 - Historic Floodings & Tornados)

This page was originally created shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast Region, however, it's now apparent that "natural disasters" are occuring on an increasingly horrific scale; all over the planet. We implore anyone and everyone that can give to their fellow man, to do so. The links below are merely a starting point for information. Your help and generosity are truly needed.

Hurricane Katrina has affected 90,000 square miles of southeastern United States and it will surely impact everyone in America (and now that the Gulf Coast Region has experienced hurricanes Rita and Wilma - this presents additional problems) - every dollar or handful of spare change truly makes a difference, please give what you can.

It should not be forgotten that on December 26, 2004, southeast asia was ravaged by a spawning of tsunamis created by an earthquake in the Indian Ocean. These areas have yet to recover. Additionally, in October of 2005, India, Pakistan & Afghanistan experienced a killer earthquake. All of these events have been categorized as 'strongest in a generation' (or something eerily similar). So, again - every dollar or handful of spare change truly makes a difference, please give what you can.
